Liberty Children’s Home

Liberty Children’s Home is a UK charity supporting a children’s home in Chintalapudi, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Led by Pastor Hezekiah, the Home provides children with food, clothing, medical care, education, and a safe, loving environment. Rather than a traditional orphanage, it operates as a large foster family, caring for children from a variety of challenging family circumstances and supporting them until they can live independently.

Doug and Jeanette, members of our church family and trustees of the charity, oversee its finances and regularly visit the Home to support the children and understand its needs firsthand.

As a church, we are privileged to partner with Pastor Hezekiah in helping children discover their potential, build confidence, and look forward to a brighter future.

The Harbour Ministries

The Harbour Ministries Sponsorship Fund was established in 2003 following a visit to the Naisoya area of Kenya. Since then, the fund has helped transform the lives of Maasai children through education and practical support.

 

Today, around 400 children attend five nursery schools, receiving two years of elementary education before moving into state education. Each child is provided with a nutritious midday meal, which for many is the best meal they receive each day.
The fund also supports 13 teachers, five cooks, and five water carriers, helping ensure the schools can continue to serve the local community. Many sponsored children have gone on to higher education and university, securing meaningful employment and helping to support their families, creating lasting change for future generations.
