Our Pastor
I became the Pastor of Wilmington Community Church in April 2018. I got to know the previous Pastor, Mark, when he took over my role as CEO of a local charity that I had founded and led for twenty-five years. I had no plans to become a pastor. In fact, it wasn’t on my radar at all!
That all changed when God called me in December 2017. The story behind that calling is remarkable in itself: a powerful dream that occurred twice in the same night, an extraordinary prophetic word, and a quiet conviction that this was what God wanted for me, all within the space of a few days.
Being a pastor has been challenging at times, but it has also been incredibly rewarding.
The thing I love most about the church is the love shown by the people who have made it their spiritual home. They genuinely care about others and make visitors feel welcome. There is something special here, and many people have experienced it.
One of my greatest joys as a Pastor is leading people to Jesus and then watching Him transform their lives. Baptising those people is one of the highlights of my ministry.

Supporting Families
Through children’s and youth activities, community events, and pastoral support, we aim to create a welcoming church where families can connect and explore faith together.

Join us every Sunday at 10:00am at WCC to hear the sermon and enjoy tea, coffee, and biscuits afterwards, providing a great opportunity to catch up with friends and fellow worshippers.
